2023 Three Minute Thesis

The 2023 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition will be held on Tuesday, April 25. 3MT challenges Caltech graduate students to explain their research in an engaging and clear three-minute talk intended for a non-specialist audience. The submissions portal will open March 1.

New Online Bookstore

Starting this fall, the Library has partnered with to supply materials for all Caltech classes. Students can use free expedited shipping to order textbooks to a personal address or the library for pickup. Price matching is also available:

World Biographical Information System (a de Gruyter database) has biographical information on ~6 million people from all over the world starting in 800 BCE. It can be used for information on people as well as genealogical research.
