Crossing Over finalist for Alfred H. Barr Jr. Award for Smaller Museums, Libraries, Collections, and Exhibitions

A year ago, Caltech Library published the book Crossing Over: Art and Science at Caltech, 1920–2020 to accompany an exhibition of the same title. Crossing Over collects essays and images documenting a century of Caltech’s art, architecture, and scientific images. It is available in print from Sherman Fairchild Library, TechHub, the Caltech Store, and the Getty Museum Store, and digitally from CaltechAUTHORS. The College Art Association has named Crossing Over one of four finalists for its 2026 Alfred H. Barr Jr. Award for Smaller Museums, Libraries, Collections, and Exhibitions, which they award each year to “an especially distinguished catalogue in the history of art.”
