CINF Scholarships for Scientific Excellence: The American Chemical Society’s Division of Chemical Information (CINF) organizes the international Scholarship for Scientific Excellence, sponsored by ACS Publications. The scholarship is awarded to outstanding graduate and postdoctoral students working in cheminformatics and chemical information addressing problems around knowledge representation, management and modeling. The award seeks to identify novel uses of chemical information (structure and associated data such as physical properties or biological activities) and use of methods to characterize and visualize such information. Applications of methodologies from related fields such as data science, statistics and computer science are welcome. In addition to rewarding novel research, the award aims to foster involvement of awardees in CINF activities.
CAS Future Leaders Program: Join an elite group of Ph.D. students and postdoctoral researchers from around the world to blaze a trail toward scientific leadership. The CAS Future Leaders program awards early-career scientists with essential scientific, business and leadership training and a trip to the ACS National Meeting & Exposition, one of the most respected scientific meetings in the world. Applications are usually due in January. The next deadline is January 28, 2024!
