Locations

Located on Caltech’s campus, Crossing Over begins at Bechtel Mall on S. Wilson Ave., just north of E. California Blvd. and across the street from 525 S. Wilson Ave. It continues in Linde Laboratory, Gates Annex, Dabney Hall, and the Chen Building.

Parking

Visitor parking is available in the S. Wilson Ave. parking structures, south of E. Del Mar Blvd.

Parking Structure 1: 341 S. Wilson Ave.
Parking Structure 2: 405 S. Wilson Ave.

Parking is free on weekends. On weekdays, the pay station for both structures is located in Parking Structure 1.

Some restricted parking is available on adjacent streets.

Transit

We are 1.2 miles from the Metro A Line train, which connects Pasadena to Los Angeles Union Station and several other stations in Los Angeles, Long Beach, and the San Gabriel Valley. The closest stations for walking are Del Mar to our west and Lake to our north. Caltech is connected to the A Line and other points in Southern California by several bus lines, including the Metro 177 and 267 buses and the Pasadena 10 bus.

Other Programs

Crossing Over is one of three Caltech contributions to Getty’s event PST ART: Art & Science Collide. Opening Doors is a series of dance, music, and theater performances at Caltech. Blended Worlds is a Jet Propulsion Laboratory art exhibition hosted at Brand Library and Art Center in Glendale. Caltech also offers many other public events.
