Update on Rehab of SFL Group Study Rooms

Due to the desire to update and add to the existing group study rooms, the 2nd floor of the Sherman Fairchild Library has been a construction site since June 9th. We would like to announce the completion of the construction phase of this project! Thanks to Ryan Noel, the Assistant Project Manager assigned to us by Architectural & Engineering Services, the group study rooms in the SFL are looking truly beautiful! Ryan’s response to all the complements has been to say “I am glad the design is well liked by all in the library.”

The group study rooms will include new furniture and new LCD screens – to be installed in October. As of now group study rooms 3-1, 3-2, and 2-1 are available for use, as is the Multimedia Conference Room. Marie Noren, Sherman Fairchild Library Supervisor, feels “the students will enjoy the new technology.”
